Commander Flow in the Microsoft Store
I am proud of this day. Commander Flow, the app that turns your speech into finished text in any Windows program and keeps everything you say on your own computer, has passed Microsoft's review and is now in the Microsoft Store.
One click and it's done
Open the app's page, press Install, and a minute later Commander Flow is in place. No file to hunt for, no downloads folder, no prompt asking whether you trust an unknown program: Microsoft has already checked that this is exactly the app we published, and the Store installs it for you.
Inside it is the same app you get from our website. Updates arrive on their own, as before. If you already use the version from the site, there is nothing to reinstall.
What Commander Flow does
Hold a key and speak: the text appears wherever your cursor is, in Word, in a browser, in a messenger, in a search box, in any window. With punctuation and capital letters, in 25 European languages. It is usually several times faster than typing.
There is an assistant too. Select some text and say what to do with it: translate to English, cut it in half, draft a reply, turn it into a business letter, explain it simply. The result lands right in your document, with no copying into a chat window and back. The assistant can also talk: ask a question out loud and hear the answer.
Everything stays on your computer
Speech recognition, the assistant and the voice all run on your own machine. Your speech and your documents are never sent anywhere, and the app keeps working even if you pull the network cable. That is why Commander Flow is safe to use for work correspondence and for documents that must not leave the office.
Dictation is free. Forever
Voice typing has no time limit and no word limit, and needs no account. The assistant is the paid part: try it free for seven days, then take a subscription or buy it once for good. Installing from the Microsoft Store changes none of this: the prices are the same as on the site, and that is where you buy.

FAQ
How is the Store version different from the one on the website?
It isn't. It is the same app; only the way it is installed differs.
Do I need internet?
Only for the install and the first launch, to fetch the language pack. After that, dictation works offline.
Is the app listening to me all the time?
No. The microphone is on only while you hold the dictation key, and you can see it on screen.
